I believe that 7 yr old Jimmy will be very happy living with Dan and Stan. First of all they've already established a relationship and Jimmy loves Stan and Stan loves him. Stan has mentored Jimmy for 6 mos. and he understands Jimmy. Dan and Stan are financially stable and are in a stable relationship. Yes they are a gay couple, but I don't doubt for a minute that they can't give Jimmy a loving and stable environment.
Jimmy does not know any other family. The only reason his cousin Annette stepped up because she doesn't want Jimmy to go into a gay family home. Annette is unstable, she has a crimnal record, and she doesn't want Jimmy for the right reasons. Jimmy will be just fine living with Dan and Stan. They can provide for him and love him without their sexuality having any affect on his growth.
